Cleft Palates
-
During the initial consultation, we assess the scar and discuss your desired outcome. A detailed color analysis is conducted to ensure an accurate match to your skin tone. This step is crucial to achieve a natural-looking result.
-
Using state-of-the-art color-matching techniques, a palette is created to replicate your unique skin tone. Test patches may be applied to determine the best match and ensure optimal results.
-
Once the perfect color match is achieved, the customized pigment is carefully tattooed into the scar tissue. This involves precise needlework to deposit the pigment at the correct depth, ensuring even coverage and blending.
-
The pigment is applied in layers, gradually building up to achieve the desired coverage. The scar is seamlessly blended with the surrounding skin, effectively camouflaging it and making it less visible.
-
Proper aftercare is essential to the success of the scar camouflage process. You will receive detailed instructions on how to care for the treated area to promote healing and maintain the results.
The result is a camouflaged scar that blends naturally with your skin, enhancing your appearance and boosting your confidence. This technique is not only effective for scars but also for stretch marks, providing a comprehensive solution for various skin imperfections.
How It Works

What is Scar Camouflage Exactly…
Scar Reduction - Pre-Camouflage
The Inkless method, performed with tattoo needles, focuses on softening scar tissue and smoothing out its texture. This technique, often referred to as scar relaxation or Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a crucial step in preparing the scar for better color retention during scar camouflage sessions.
Depending on the type of scar tissue, distinct needles are used to create controlled micro-damage. This minor trauma stimulates blood flow and triggers the body’s natural healing process. The needling technique creates micro-punctures, which promote collagen, melanin, and elastin production, leading to healthier skin tissue.
Raised scars will flatten and become smoother, while tight scars will loosen, reducing tension on the surrounding skin. Discolored scars will start to normalize, and the skin tone will even out. Numbness in the scar tissue may improve, restoring sensation. Proper aftercare, tailored to different stages of wound healing, can maximize treatment results and lighten hyperpigmented scars.
Scar Camouflage - Medical Tattoo | Paramedical Tattoo
Once a scar is lighter and flatter, we move to the scar camouflage phase, where artistry meets medical precision. Using advanced color-matching techniques, a customized skin tone is meticulously created to match your natural complexion. This skin tone is then tattooed into the areas lacking pigment, seamlessly blending the scar with the surrounding skin.
